MWeb has a beautifully designed dark theme and offers cool features like Typewriter Scrolling and folder Drag & Drop. Inserting image is easy: simply paste it and the image will display in the editor immediately.
For LaTex-favored users, MWeb supports LaTex Live Preview in Editor! MWeb also supports Live Preview View Mode, Outline View etc...
In External Mode, you can edit common text and markdown files from anywhere on your Mac. For example, you can link MWeb with a folder on Dropbox. Use shortcuts CMD + E or View - Open External to open files in External Mode. Then simply drag a folder to the sidebar and you can enjoy Full Text Search and image inserting feature by Dragging or Pasting images from clipboard.
You can drag the Hexo, Jekyll folder to MWeb for Live Preview and insert images just by copying and pasting.

MWeb has two Modes, External Mode and Library Mode.
Library Mode is designed for note taking and static blog/website generator. It organises your documents in a category-tree. You can assign a document to multi categories. Use shortcuts CMD+ L or View - Open Library to open Library Mode.
MWeb's static blog generator saves you the time to build a blog from scratch. Just choose the document category as Site and click to build site! MWeb's static blog is different from the Jekyll like static blog. HTTP server is not required for preview.
